ashwin,

so long as you provide a proper citation, there should be no problem.
best regards,

Hello Sir,

I have used a code fragement from the web page for CRAK (the part about using
dup2 for re-opening descriptors) in the literature survey for my thesis
entitled "Metamori: A library for incremental file checkpointing". I e-mailed
Hua Zhong about this, and he said that he did not think there were any
copyright issues involved, but asked that i confirm with you, his advisor.

Do I need written authorization from you to include this code fragment in the
literature survey section of my thesis? If so, can I (surface) mail you a form
to get your signed consent? If not, could you please reply saying that you
have no problems with this inclusion?

Thank you,
Ashwin Jeyakumar.
