Abstract

McKinsey & Company has recently published their 6th annual Women in the Workplace study. The McKinsey study is the largest study regarding women in corporate America. Unfortunately, a horrible theme of the 2020 addition is that this year, 1/4 women are considering downshifting their careers at the expense of COVID-19.The study also note that the decrease in childcare and the inability of children to be in schools has forced women to juggle their home roles on top of increasing pressure at work. Experts note that COVID-19 could set women back half a decade.
