This report presents postsecondary outcomes for the regular Upward Bound (UB) and Upward Bound Math-Science (UBMS) programs —two of the federal TRIO programs. The goal of UB and UBMS programs is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from a program of postsecondary education. The UBMS program has an additional goal of helping students recognize and develop their potential to excel in math and science, as well as encouraging them to pursue both postsecondary degrees and, ultimately, careers in math and science.
