Abstract

The published study by Stanford University claims that the main cause of COVID-19 superspread events in major cities is indoor-dining. The research result shows that there is a negative correlationship between the area of dining space and the infection rate. However, the National Restaurant Association released a statement that refutes the study saying that the data they used is taken before the safety measures(social distancing and wearing mask) are conducted.
