    Abstract
There is a lack of representation in mainstream travel including travel agents. In 2016 79.6% of travel agents identifies as Caucasian while just 6% identified as Black. There is a lack of access to these opportunities. The lack of visibility of Blacks bodies in the travel space often led to being confused for hotel staff at best, and a sex worker at worst.
