    Abstract
    Several theme cruise operators are anxious for the restart of their theme-based cruises. Before the pandemic, the popularity of these cruises exploded in recent years. Organizers of such sailings call their product "a gateway drug" as they hope to lure new passengers into becoming cruise converts.
