Accor is partnering with Expedia Group and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) the push UNESCO Sustainable Tourism Pledge forward in across all of their properties. The UNESCO pledge is centered around reducing and eliminating single-use plastic and advertising the local economy among guests and travelers. The emphasis on sustainability and sustainable tourism will continue to be at the forefront of thought leaders minds as the industry beings the rebuilding process from the COVID-19 crisis.
