Abstract

New climate patterns and more extreme drought may become the norm in response to rising global temperatures and carbon dioxide concentrations. The rising cost of fertilizers and other inputs are a growing concern as well. To deal with these issues, forage-livestock producers may want to look toward using alternative forages like native warm-season grasses (NWSG).
