Abstract
Effective natural resource management (NRM) in Mali must address methods of conflict avoidance and management. Collaborating with local Natural Resource Management Advisory Committees (NRMACs), SANREM researchers have outlined a process for improving conflict and natural resource management at the commune/multi-village level.
