Abstract

Analyzing the role of gender in socio-economic development is becoming vital in the era of globalization. Gender and Development highlights the numerous dimensions of gender inequality in economic development, an essential resource for policy-planners, researchers, NGO's and women's organizations focused on women's equality in any nation. Links between gender and employment, savings, budgeting, nutrition, and technology are explored from various country perspectives.
