dc.description.abstractThis study was undertaken in 2003 visioning the trends and Issues in Tourism and Hospitality Higher Education. This recognizes five causes of change: the socio-economic and technological environment; global competition; the student market; educators and teaching methods; and the tourism and hospitality industries. Taking advantage of modern technology and improving competencies in information literacy and knowledge management are the two major issues that universities need to address in the future.en
