Although authentic leadership is a "core form" of other positive types of leadership, this study shows a stronger effect of servant vs authentic leadership. Hospitality companies should conduct effective leadership as a foundation for cultivating servant leadership and promoting servant leadership not only to create harmonious leader-member partnerships, but also to have a greater impact on workers (e.g. empowering employees to grow safer, smarter, freer, more independent and selfless), which would enable employees to be more involved and selfless in treating customers. Generally speaking, there are two avenues to promote service leadership— the self-development leadership and organizational commitment. Effective leadership begins from inside. Self-identity and self-motivation are central to servant leadership. It is a continuous and ongoing learning process that requires managers to develop, accept and exercise leadership skills and characteristics for excellent leadership. Findings also suggest that it is crucial for managers to create an environment of confidence, because both servant and honest leadership affect working attitudes of workers through the atmosphere of community trust. Since confidence environment is the global view of a supervisor's trustworthiness by a group, which is informed by the individual experiences of each participant with the supervisor and specific perceptions or messages about the relationships of the supervisor with other group membersen
