This dataset contains information ONLY for the bats captured during this study AND that were part of the maternity colony defined as all female and juvenile bats connected by coincident roost use.

FILE DESCRIPTION:

1. bats.csv
Bat condition data.

Variable description:
	BatID: Band number unique to the individual bat.  Note band numbers repeat for bats captured in multiple years.
	Repro: Reproductive condition of the bat when captured.
	Age: Age class at time of capture.
	Sex: m = male, f = female
	Year: Year of capture.

	
2. daily_location_data.csv
Bat roost use information.

Variable description:
	BatID: Band number unique to the individual bat.
	TreeID: Roost identity
	Date: Date of roost use by individual bat

	
3. emergence.csv
Aggregated roost emergence count data.
NOTE! : Roost exit counts were not necessarily conducted on the day a radio-tagged bat used the roost.  This resulted in some exit counts of 0.

Variable description:
	TreeID: Roost identity
	TotalRoostDays: Sum of the total number of roost-days the roost was used by radio-tagged bats. (e.g. 2 individual bats for 2 days = 4 roost-days)
	RoostDays09: Sum of the total number of roost-days the roost was used by radio-tagged bats in 2009.
	RoostDays10: Sum of the total number of roost-days the roost was used by radio-tagged bats in 2010.
	MaxEmergence09: Maximum number of bats observed emerging from roost in 2009.
	MaxEmergence10: Maximum number of bats observed emerging from roost in 2010.
	MaxEmergence: Maximum number of bats observed emerging from roost in either year.

	
4. roost_locations.csv
Roost location coordinates.
NOTE: Locations have been standardized to preserved the privacy of landowners. Location units are in meters.

Variable description:
	TreeID: Band number unique to the individual bat.
	x: location x coordinate 
	y: location y coordinate

	
5. foraging_locations.csv
Foraging location data for bats
NOTE: Locations have been standardized to preserved the privacy of landowners. Location units are in meters.

Variable description:
	BatID: Band number unique to the individual bat.
	x: location x coordinate 
	y: location y coordinate
	datetime: Date and time location was recorded.


6. subset_individual_foraging_location.csv
Foraging location data for bats with >= 40 locations.
NOTE: Locations have been standardized to preserved the privacy of landowners. Location units are in meters.

Variable description:
	BatID: Band number unique to the individual bat.
	x: location x coordinate 
	y: location y coordinate
	datetime: Date and time location was recorded.
