Lazenby named news bureau manager at Virginia Tech

BLACKSBURG, Va., Jan. 26, 2006 – Jenna Lazenby of Roanoke, Va., has been named news bureau manager. In her new position, Lazenby will oversee distribution of university news and information to both internal audiences and the news media and provide assistance in marketing news releases. Additionally, Lazenby will help maintain content of the Virginia Tech News website and write the daily university news e-mail message.

Prior to coming to Virginia Tech, Lazenby was a public relations account coordinator at John Lambert Associates in Roanoke. A native of Roanoke, Lazenby received her bachelor’s degree from Hollins University and her master’s degree from Virginia Tech, where she taught public speaking.
