BLACKSBURG, Va., June 4, 2009 – In recognition of a career of excellence, Donna Dunay, the G. T. Ward Professor of Architecture and chair of the International Archive of Women Architects in the School of Architecture + Design, was named an American Institute of Architects (AIA) Fellow.

Only 2 percent of the professionals in the AIA attain this distinction.

Dunay received her fellowship medal at the 2009 National AIA Convention and Design Exposition in San Francisco in May.
