    Abstract
Virginia Tech’s Crisis and Emergency Management Plan (CEMP), is a reference tool used to provide guidance to campus personnel responding to an emergency. The CEMP addresses requirements set forth in Section 23-9.2:9, Code of Virginia, as amended. Departmental Emergency Action Plans and Continuity of Operations Plans, as well as campus-wide Continuity of Operations Plans, all support the CEMP. Virginia Tech Emergency Management is responsible for the ongoing administration and revision of the CEMP. The plan must be reviewed by high-level campus staff annually and fully revised every four years.
