4.2 million hotel jobs have been eliminated due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This does not include job loss of jobs that are dependent on hotels to bring in business and sustain their overall industry. Industry leaders are fearful that the winter months will have a catastrophic impact on hotel job loss as the American Hotel & Lodging Association continues to lobby the industry's top needs to a divided Congress.
