Marriott has updated their Commitment to Clean standards with the addition of testing and protocol options for planners and group travel. The guidelines highlight four categories of testing ranging from self-administered testing prior to travel, on-site testing administered by a third-party, daily or pre-arrival health screening questions administered by a mobile application, and daily temperatures checks prior to entering an event area. Marriott is hopeful these extended options will boost group travel heading into 2021.
