Hotel markets in several areas of Texas experienced their highest week-over-week occupancy increase for the last year. The winter storm drove the demand in occupancy as many residents were forced to find shelter from the loss of power and water which was a widespread issue in Texas. The Texas ADR was also experiencing a boost.
