The NerdWallet Holiday Travel Report has found that Americans are projected to spend $200 billion on travel during the holidays this year. Many Americans did not travel last year with Covid-19 restrictions and fears. The pandemic is still having an effect on how travelers are choosing to travel, what type of accommodations they are staying in, and who they choose to visit while on vacation.
