    New Communications Manager For Forest Products At Virginia Tech

    Abstract
    The Center for Forest Products Marketing and Management has hired a new communications and marketing manager. Before coming to this position, Clare Foster designed two museum exhibits, managed an electrical engineering research lab, and assisted in the development of long-range transportation vision plan for the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute. Foster will now be working closely with of the forest products marketing center members, department faculty members and staff, and students in the Department of Wood Science and Forest Products. Her responsibilities include maintaining communication with center members and coordinating newsletters, reports, web pages advertising, and events. She will also work with student recruitment for the department. Foster has a master's degree in public administration and policy from Virginia Tech and a B.A. in English from St. Mary's College in Maryland.
