Virginia Tech's students, faculty, staff, alumni, family, and friends have pledged more than 400,000 hours of volunteer service for this academic year and have already served more than 200,000 hours to honor those lost April 16, 2007, through the university's volunteerism initiative, VT-ENGAGE.
