MetadataShow full item record
This report covers specific research areas, such as the roles of men and women in management and agricultural production; the social constraints in the definition of gender roles; women's resources and sources of income (i.e. the use and management of ruminant milk, and allocation of household resources); and the relationship of gender and role to the seasonal cycles of transhumance. Interdisciplinary field research was conducted to assess the potential for production-enhancing interventions and their adoption by transhumnant producers.
