This report proposes recommendations for addressing gender-based obstacles and opportunities as a means of improving results in USAID/Mali projects. WID Tech offers a "gender plan of action" aimed at incorporating gender analysis and gender mainstreaming into developing projects, monitoring plans, and new activities. It examines USAID's past practice of including gender issues in the areas of education, economic growth, health care, and democracy and governance in Mali, as well as suggesting cross-cutting themes and steps for finalizing and implementing the plan.en
