    Abstract
This newsletter describes the potential benefits of bringing VHR imagery technology to the rural communities of Mali. In an effort to involve the Government of Mali and gain support for this project, SIBWA (Seeing is Believing-West Africa) gave a presentation to the Minister of Agriculture of Mali on the importance of VHR imagery and how it can help rural families. This is one promising step towards bringing much needed technology to the rural areas of Africa.
