    Abstract
    This newsletter presents the benefits of agro-forestry, contour plowing, and rainfed agriculture. Instead of investing a lot of money into large-scale irrigation schemes, SIBWA suggests that it is much more effective and economical to invest in rainfed agriculture for smallholders.
