    Abstract
This presentation provides an overview of the SANREM CRSP, including many aspects of the SANREM CRSP such as: how a systems approach--field, farm, community/watershed ecosystems, and policy and markets systems levels-- is applied to SANREM research; the objectives and partners of SANREM; how degree training is used to build the capacity of smallholders and students in project areas and; which Phase III and IV Long Term Research Awards were given funding.
