Virginia Tech Authors Recognition

Abstract

Sponsored by the University Libraries, in partnership with the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation, and Virginia Tech's Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, this event honors Virginia Tech authors' academic contributions. The University Libraries displayed books published in 2015, celebrated the authors in our community, listened to remarks by the sponsors, and enjoyed refreshments and hors d'oeuvres. The Libraries also celebrated authors who have published through the university's Open Access Subvention Fund at this event.
