This brief presentation asks: "What is "success with regard to open educational resource initiatives?" Several programmatic elements are then presented, graded, with lessons learned. The presentation is not intended to be a comprehensive review of Virginia Tech's open education initiative but is intended to stimulate discussion around goal setting and measurement, what works (depending on the institution), and lessons learned.
