    Abstract
    The topics of this presentation, which was given on February 15th during the 71st Annual Convention : 2017 Virginia State Feed Association & Nutritional Management “Cow” College, include horse biology and diversity within the species, the importance of forage in a horse’s diet, types of hays, and matching hay with nutrient needs.
