Discusses the status of corn plants in spring 2017 in Virginia. Many of the plants were noted as stunted and yellowed. Reasons for this included colder than average spring temperatures, wet soils, lack of sunshine, nutrient deficiencies, soil pH, and perhaps also the types of hybrids planted.
