This report summarizes the highlights of a national survey of college and university faculty conducted by the Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP) at the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) during the 2016–2017 academic year. The report includes a set of questions specifically addressing the experiences of faculty employed in part-time positions as well as those who work with graduate students.
