Abstract
U.S. Rep. Rick Boucher, D-9th (Abingdon), has announced that the Center for Advanced Separation Technologies, a multi-university and industry consortium lead by Virginia Tech, has received a $12 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL). The fund is to advance separation technologies that are used by mining industries in order to meet national energy and environment goals.
