The technologies developed consist of a desktop application that allows researchers to view the vehicle cabin and various vehicle parameters (like speed, acceleration, etc.) in real time. Physically removing researchers from the vehicle during experiments can increase realism and offer naturalistic observations in traditional, experimenter-conducted studies.
