Increasing our understanding of the relationship between these variables can help address the problem of the declining agricultural output per capita and food supply in this area. Through analysis of the technical efficiency of different farms, this study draws conclusions about how changing migration patterns will affect productivity and food security in this region of Africa.text/plainen-USIn CopyrightFood securityFarming systemsRural-rural migrationMigrant laborLesothoTechnical efficiencyFarmsLabor migrationAgricultural productionLiquidityRemittance flowEmploymentFarm/Enterprise Scale Field ScaleMigrant labor and farm technical efficiency in LesothoAbstractCopyright 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
