The methods involve use of a fluid catalytic bed which is maintained at a suitable pyrolysis temperature. Biomass is added to the catalytic bed, preferably while entrained in a non-reactive gas such as nitrogen, causing the biomass to become pyrolyzed and forming the desired products in vapor and gas forms, allowing the desired products to be easily separated.application/pdfen-USProduction of stable biomass pyrolysis oils using fractional catalytic pyrolysisPatenthttp://pimg-fpiw.uspto.gov/fdd/81/455/085/0.pdf12691385423/64448/197R48/20148/20948/210B01J27/053B01J29/40C10B47/24C10B53/02C10C5/00Y02E50/148545581
