The scope of work calls for “a literature review to inform a future monitoring strategy to assess emerging contaminants in Virginia waters.” The DEQ is considering the need to expand its monitoring strategy to evaluate the presence, magnitude, risks of, and potential abatement strategies for emerging contaminants in the waters of Virginia.
