By utilizing fixed‐point theorems we are able to show that iterative solutions converge uniquely to the ’’physical solution’’ in a certain sphere of X. Both isotropic and anisotropic scattering are considered.en-USIn Copyrightintegral equationsmatrix theoryanisotropyOn the solution of nonlinear matrix integral equations in transport theoryArticle - Refereedhttp://scitation.aip.org/content/aip/journal/jmp/17/9/10.1063/1.523100Journal of Mathematical Physicshttps://doi.org/10.1063/1.523100
