It begins by explaining the gender inequity in agriculture research, projects, and development. There are examples of gender-based constraints in developement projects as well as how projects can overcome those such as inviting women to meetings/trainings and working with women's associations. It emphasizes the necessity to explore how development activites can impact men and women different.
