Its solution was complicated. In this paper, we study a very similar differential equation, which appears in the Coulomb problem. The solution for this equation, however, can be put in a simple form. For completeness the spheroidal analysis of the Coulomb scattering amplitude is also discussed.en-USIn Copyrightdifferential equationsnumerical solutionsparticle scatteringnumerical modellingSpheroidal analysis of Coulomb scatteringArticle - Refereedhttp://scitation.aip.org/content/aip/journal/jmp/15/5/10.1063/1.1666685Journal of Mathematical Physicshttps://doi.org/10.1063/1.1666685
