This thesis uses different poetic forms to explore each poem's inherent and inevitable architecture, so as to get closer to the idea of poem as physical object, as sculpture. Shelter relies heavily on archetypal imagery, much inspired by Federico Garcia Lorca's lecture on the lullaby, in order to defamiliarize the reader through familiar means.ETDenCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 InternationalPoetrySpiritualityMemoryInheritanceShelterThesis
