The tutorial will be composed of four sessions: Auditory menu navigation, speech interactions, music & sonification, and sonic branding. Particularly, in each session hands-on activities will be conducted first and then, a short lecture on the topic will be followed. This tutorial aims to inspire practitioners as well as researchers to appropriately apply auditory displays and sonification to in-vehicle technologies, and thus, facilitate necessary multi-Tasking processes in automotive user interfaces.Pages 225-2284 page(s)application/pdfenIn CopyrightAuditory displaysemotionsmenu navigationmusicsonificationsonic brandingspeechwarningsTutorial on In-vehicle Auditory Interactions: Design and Application of Auditory Displays, Speech, Sonification, & MusicConference proceedingAUTOMOTIVEUI 2016: 8TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON AUTOMOTIVE USER INTERFACES AND INTERACTIVE VEHICULAR APPLICATIONShttps://doi.org/10.1145/3004323.3005685Jeon, Myounghoon [0000-0003-2908-671X]
