Courageous Followership offers a new model for the follower role that provides dynamic support for leaders but does not hesitate to constructively question or challenge directives that conflict with the common purpose. Similarly, the concept of Intelligent Disobedience provides guidance for conscious decision-making when faced with an order than may be inappropriate, particularly considering issues that may be in the "blind spot" of a leaders view.
