Throughout the essay, we integrate findings from a series of interviews conducted by the authors with 11 industry leaders from several publishing sectors, including university presses, library publishers, and commercial publishers. We conclude with recommendations for pathways forward, focusing on seven key areas in which library publishers need additional training opportunities.
