The study was conducted on a series of mono- and dihalogenated aromatic diazines interacting with various ketone enolates in ammonia. Results indicate that this previously unrecognized reaction pathway in these nitrogen heterocycles is easily obtained and should prove of great synthetic utility in preparation of substituted diazines.v, 160 leavesBTDapplication/pdfenIn CopyrightLD5655.V856 1979.C379Aromatic compounds -- ReactivitySubstitution reactionsThe Sʀɴ1 reactivity of selected aromatic diazinesDissertationhttp://scholar.lib.vt.edu/theses/available/etd-11302012-040014/
