Physical, mineralogical, chemical, and phosphorus sorption capacities were measured and compared. It was determined that poor soil fertility is the primary cause of poor soil productivity. Nearly all soils were deficient in nitrogen and phosphorus, though they contained adequate amounts of potassium.
