Though often thought to oppose one another because of ANT's fluid conceptualization of space, Murdoch uses ANT to illustrate how space can be made relative, even from the perspective of a geographer. Within this context, Murdoch draws his own hypotheses on "spaces of prescription" and "spaces of negotiation" as the elements of formality and flexibility vital to the processes of any network.text/plainen-USIn CopyrightNetworksSpaceGeographyActor network theory (ant)The spaces of actor-network theoryAbstractCopyright 1998 Elesevier Science Ltdhttps://doi.org/10.1016/S0016-7185(98)00011-6
