For traveling waves, resonance occurs whenever the wall wavenumber is equal to the difference of the wave numbers of any two duct acoustic modes. The results show that neither of these resonating modes could occur without strongly generating the other.3 pagesapplication/pdfen-USIn CopyrightAcoustic resonanceAcoustic analysisAcoustic wavesWave propagationSound waves in two-dimensional ducts with sinusoidal wallsArticle - Refereedhttp://scitation.aip.org/content/asa/journal/jasa/56/3/10.1121/1.1903324Journal of the Acoustical Society of Americahttps://doi.org/10.1121/1.1903324
