Especially the increased use of information and communication technologies in tourism triggered more interest in either topic since the beginning of the early 2000s. To learn more about the wealth of research at the intersection of tourism, technology and innovation this study applies topic modelling on abstracts of relevant studies to identify which research areas are covered to date. For today’s body of research, we identified ten topics within five clusters. Hence, this study provides evidence that topic modelling is a meaningful approach to categorize past research and to identify opportunities for future research.application/pdfenIn CopyrightInnovationTechnologytopic modelingTopic Modelling Tourism Literature on Innovation and TechnologyConference proceeding2020-01-20E-review of Tourism Research317Zach, Florian [0000-0003-0243-4913]
