The methods involve use of a fluid catalytic bed which is maintained at a suitable pyrolysis temperature. Biomass is added to the catalytic bed, preferably while entrained in a non-reactive gas such as nitrogen, causing the biomass to become pyrolyzed and forming the desired products in vapor and gas forms, allowing the desired products to be easily separated.application/pdfen-USProduction of pyrolysis oilPatenthttp://pimg-fpiw.uspto.gov/fdd/55/799/089/0.pdf13029188423/64448/197R48/6148/210B01J27/053B01J29/40C10B47/24C10B53/02C10C5/00C10G3/49C10L1/00C10G2300/1059C10G2400/02C10G2400/04C10G2400/08Y02E50/14Y02E50/32Y02P30/208979955
